TEI’s 2026 Annual Conference will take place in Nashville, Tennessee on October 18-21, 2026, bringing together the profession’s leading voices and brightest minds. This premier event is the must-attend gathering of the year for in-house tax professionals. The 2026 program will deliver a timely, well-rounded roadmap of sessions, with countless opportunities to connect with colleagues and peers, engage with expert speakers, and interact with valued sponsors.

Attendees will gain insights on the latest developments in Federal, International, State & Local, and Canadian Tax, along with critical updates on IRS Administrative Affairs, challenges facing Chief Tax Officers, Tax Technology, Financial Reporting, and Tax Leadership & Development.

CPE/CLE Information

This conference will offer up to (TBD) hours of live and live internet-based Continuing Professional Education (“CPE”).  CPE credit will be offered only for live sessions; on-demand viewing of recorded sessions will not qualify for CPE.
 
Prerequisite: Registrant must be a corporate tax professional

CPE certificates will be emailed out approximately 2-3 weeks after the program concludes.  Please do not reach out prior to that as it does take time to compile and email out certificates.

Team Discount: TEI offers a discount on registration fees to organizations sending two or more registrations from their organization. When registering the second or subsequent registrant from your organization online, enter AC26TEAM into the discount code field before entering payment information. This discount will take 15% off the member and non-member registration fees.

This discount may not be combined with the already discounted First-Time Member Registration Fee. You must have your primary registrant register at a full member or non-member registration fee. A First-Time Member Registrant can count as your first registrant.

Group Registration: To register a group of people from the same organization please download and complete a registration form for each person (with payment information) and send it to meetings@tei.org.

ATTENDANCE REMINDER: TEI events are open to members of TEI and other in-house tax professionals. Individuals engaged in private law, accounting, or other consulting practices, as well as government employees, may not attend.

Accommodations:
A discounted block of sleeping rooms will be available at the Grand Hyatt Nashville Hotel for TEI Annual Conference attendees.

The rooms will be available for $329 per night + tax. Our group reservations site will open in November 2025. TEI will send you a link as soon as it is available. TEI's discounted room block expires on September 28, 2026. However, rooms in the block are limited and will likely sell out prior to September 28, so do not delay in making your reservations.

About the Hotel:

Stay in the middle of the action at Grand Hyatt Nashville. Transportation

TEI registrants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Annual Conference.  The Grand Hyatt Nashville Hotel is located approximately 9 miles from the Nashville International Airport (BNA).
 

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Cancellation, Registration Change, and Substitution Policy:
Cancellations made in writing by September 28, 2026 and will be subject to an administrative service charge of $75 (USD); for cancellations after September 28 the charge will be $200 (USD). No refunds will be made for cancellations received after October 2 or for no-shows.

Substitutions:

There is a $25 processing fee for each substitution, plus any registration fee difference. To request a substitution, please send an email to meetings@tei.org.

Cancellation or Over-Subscription of the Conference:  

In the event the conference must be canceled or is oversubscribed, TEI’s liability is limited to the return of the registration fee.
