Event Description

The Denver Chapter of Tax Executives Institute is excited to announce that we will hold a CPE/CLE qualifying tax program on WEDNESDAY, April 19, 2023 at the UNIVERSITY OF DENVER! We have excellent speakers from Alvarez and Marsal to present on Compensation & Benefits.

The program will begin at 8am and end at 4:00pm to accommodate our speakers. The registration process is a little different from a few years ago, and we ask that you please pre-register using the links below if you plan to attend. (We also welcome any latecomers, just note that there will be an additional $10 fee, which is charged by the venue)

WHAT:  CPE/CLE (up to 6 hours)

 

WHEN:   Wednesday, April 19, 2023  

 

WHERE:  In-person (University of Denver)

 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  Earlier of maximum registrations or Tuesday, April 18, 2023 PM at 5:00 pm MST (see RSVP POLICY below). Late registration allowed up to the event date for an additional $10 fee.                             

 

RSVP POLICY:  Due to space limitations only the first 175 registrations will be honored; please register early to ensure access.

COST:  There is no additional cost for attendees who have purchased the CPE season pass for all FY 2022-2023 meetings (pass costs $125). Otherwise, the cost for the individual session is $150 for TEI members and $200 for non-members.  Payments can be made via TEI Connect registration link above.  Please choose the PayPal button for payment; you do not need a PayPal account to pay.  The next screen will allow you to enter your credit card information for checkout. If you cannot pre-pay using TEI Connect, please contact the treasurer, Bethany Mesko, at teidenverchapter@gmail.com. Late registrations are allowed, just note that there is an additional $10 fee charged by the venue.

PREREQUISITES / ADVANCE PREPARATION: None

 

PROGRAM LEVEL: Intermediate

 

FIELD OF STUDY: Taxation

 

INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY METHOD: Live presentation

 

PROGRAM CONTENT:  Program content will be presented by tax professionals from Alvarez and Marsal.  Program evaluations will be sent via email using Survey Monkey following the session.

 

PROGRAM MATERIALS: Program materials/documents including the agenda, bios, and slides will be available to download on the TEI Connect website prior to the meeting, here:  Denver Chapter Public Community Library

                                                                                                                                     

CPE & CLE CREDITS – The program is expected to qualify for a maximum 6 hours of CPE and CLE. Upon completion of the seminar CPE & CLE certificates will be emailed to registered participants for their signature and should be kept as proof of completion for their records. Please note: CLE attendees are responsible for submitting their own CLE credit request online to the Colorado Supreme Court website.
