The Denver Chapter of Tax Executives Institute will hold a tax program on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at TopGolf Centennial. The program will cover a variety of tax hot topics and is presented and sponsored by Alvarez & Marsal. Since the event is fully sponsored by Alvarez & Marsal, we welcome you to invite your friends and colleagues who are in-house tax professionals even if they aren't members of TEI. The prospective agenda for the program is attached, and additional details are below. Lunch is provicded during the seminar and there will be food available during SocialHour after the program.
WHAT: CPE (4.0 hours)
WHEN: Wednesday, Septermber 2, 2026, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM (9:00 - 9:30 AM Check-in).
The event is immediately followed by Golf / Networking / Social Hour from 2:30-4:30 PM.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Earlier of maximum registrations or Wednesday, August 26, 5:00pm MT (see RSVP POLICY below).
RSVP POLICY: Due to space limitations, only the first 100 registrations will be honored; please register early to ensure a seat.
COST: This event is 100% sponsored by Alvarez & Marsal and there is no cost to attend.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Participants will be updated on taxation issues related to Federal and State R&D credits, negotiable incentives, federal tax planning trends, and accounting methods. Specifics are contained in the attached agenda.

INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY METHOD: Live seminar
PROGRAM CONTENT: Program content will be presented by tax professionals from Alvarez & Marsal. Program evaluations will be provided via email following the session.
PROGRAM MATERIALS: Program materials/documents including the agenda, speaker bios, and presentation slides will be available prior to the meeting.
CPE & CLE CREDITS: The program is expected to qualify for a maximum of three (4.0) hours of CPE and CLE. Attendees wishing to receive CPE or CLE must record their attendance by (1) utilizing the onsite registration list to physically sign in and sign out of the event, (2) signing and retaining the CPE certificate that will be provided via email following the event, and (3) completing the CPE attestation which will be emailed following the event. The CLE certificate will be sent via email as well; please note that CLE attendees are responsible for submitting their own CLE credit request online to the Colorado Supreme Court website.
