Event Description
Prompt Engineering for Tax Teams: Hands-On AI Lab
Live Virtual Program | Advanced Registration Required
Registration is restricted to those who attended the 2026 Tax Technology Seminar In-Person
Program Overview
AI is rapidly transforming how tax professionals work—but getting accurate, reliable results requires more than just asking questions.
Join TEI for a hands-on, interactive virtual lab where you’ll learn how to effectively prompt generative AI tools and apply them directly to real-world tax scenarios. Building on the highly attended AICPA session in Las Vegas, this live session gives participants the opportunity to practice prompt engineering techniques in real time using “According to AI.”
This is not a webinar - you’ll actively participate using your microphone and camera, collaborate with peers in breakout rooms, and work through guided exercises designed to improve efficiency in tax research, financial analysis, and professional communication.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the core principles of prompt engineering for generative AI tools
- Apply structured prompting techniques to improve outputs across tax-related tasks
- Differentiate “According to AI” from other AI platforms and identify key use cases
