With the effective date of the Pillar 2 rules just around the corner, now is the time to for U.S. multinationals to prepare. This session will:
- Begin with an overview of the Pillar 2 rules, with a particular focus on status of their implementation by key jurisdictions and understanding the interplay with the three safe harbors.
- Provide some practical insights to getting ready for the new regime and taking advantage of the safe harbors.
- Discuss some traps for the unwary in structuring transactions before and after the rules come into effect.
