Get excited and not tricked for an upcoming meeting of the Indiana Chapter of TEI on October 31, 2023. The meeting will be hosted by FORVIS at their offices. Mitch Trager, who is a past International President of TEI, and who is now with FORVIS and is one of the leaders of the Credits and Incentives Practice, will be one of the speakers. Mitch has been talking to other TEI Chapters and encouraging members to earn a seat at the Managements Table and to show value the Tax Department can bring (that they maybe were not expecting) through credits and incentives. Mitch’s session is interactive and is part Corporate Tax Management and part a primer on State and Local Incentives that will assist you in your day-to-day jobs. In addition to Mitch, the FORVIS team will focus bring the latest on 1) Federal Income Tax Credits, 2) Sales Tax Updates, and 3) Another session on indirect taxes focusing on hot issues. Please plan to attend this and look for details.
Logistics: For parking, we can validate your parking if you park in our building’s parking garage. The garage can only accommodate standard vehicles, so if you have anything larger than a SUV, you’ll need to utilize off-street parking. Level 3 has the most unreserved parking spots. Please bring your garage ticket with you to our receptionist on the 7th floor and they will validate your ticket.
Upon your arrival to the building, please visit the South tower security desk to notify them you’re here for FORVIS and they will contact our receptionist to have a representative escort you to the 7th floor as our elevators are locked to the public.
