TEI's 2026 Midyear Conference will be returning to the Grand Hyatt Washington (DC) Hotel.  This 2.5 day program will provide you with the most up-to-date information on corporate tax issues and provide many networking opportunities with your tax colleagues.

Program materials will be available in early 2026. Sessions start at 8:00 am on Monday, March 16 and conclude Wednesday, March 18 at 12:15 pm for travel scheduling purposes. Registration is now open.

Enjoy a professionally guided tour aboard a luxury motor coach as they share fascinating facts about Washington D.C’s illuminated monuments and landmarks. On this all-encompassing night tour of Washington, you will pass such sights as the White House, the U.S. Capitol Building, the Old Post Office Building, the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, the Smithsonian Museums, and the Tidal Basin. You may circle the Marine Corp War Memorial and then make a stop at the Lincoln Memorial where you can enjoy the stunning views of the National Mall and Potomac River. During the stop you can visit the Vietnam and Korean War Memorials, which are just a short walk from the Lincoln Memorial. Guests will enjoy champagne and desserts while on tour.

CPE/CLE Information

This conference will offer approximately 19.0 hours of live and live internet-based Continuing Professional Education (“CPE”).  CPE credit will be offered only for live sessions; on-demand viewing of recorded sessions will not qualify for CPE.

ATTENDANCE REMINDER: TEI events are open to members of TEI and other in-house tax professionals. Individuals engaged in private law, accounting, or other consulting practices, as well as government employees, may not attend.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Cancellations: Cancellations made in writing by February 27, 2026 and will be subject to an administrative service charge of $75 (USD); for cancellations after February 27 the charge will be $200 (USD). No refunds will be made for cancellations received after March 6 or for no-shows. To cancel your registration, please send an email to meetings@tei.org.
 

Substitutions:  There is a $50 processing fee for each substitution, plus any registration fee difference. To request a substitution, please send an email to meetings@tei.org.
 

Cancellation or over subscription of the conference: In the event the conference must be canceled or is oversubscribed, TEI’s liability is limited to the return of the registration fee.
 
TEI’s Federal Taxpayer ID Number is 52-0239291.  In accordance with section 274(n) of the Internal Revenue Code, registrants are notified that that the portion of the seminar registration fee attributable to food and beverage is $500 (U.S.).
