TEI’s 2025 Federal Tax Course – Level 1 (Simulive Edition) provides the fundamentals of U.S. federal taxation and related topics that every tax professional needs.

This course is perfect for tax professionals who are new to the in-house community, taking on new areas of responsibility, changing areas of practice, or just need a refresher on the core principles in U.S. taxation.  Here are some of the great sessions attendees can expect:

• Income Tax Accounting – Methods, Periods, and Hot Topics
• State Corporate Income Tax Compliance – A Framework
• Capital Asset Recovery (Depreciation, Amortization, Gain, and Loss)
• Financial Disclosures for Income Taxes
• Fundamentals of U.S. International Taxation
• And more

This course is a virtual edition of the in-person 2025 Federal Tax Course – Level 1, conducted in May of 2025.  The recorded Simulive sessions feature a world-class faculty, who offer current, practical perspectives.  The sessions also feature a live subject matter expert (session speaker)  to answer questions through a chat feature. Each Simulive session will qualify for CPE credit commensurate with the length of session, with a maximum total of 30.0 CPE hours offered.

The Course curriculum is reviewed by TEI’s Federal Tax Committee to ensure it is topical for our audience and reflects the latest developments in each subject, including updates on applicable laws, regulations, procedural guidance, and judicial decisions.
