Improving IRS Technology and Customer Service for Large Business Taxpayers:
A Panel Discussion with Senior Officials in the IRS Transformation and Strategy Office

Since issuing its IRS Strategic Operating Plan in April 2023, the IRS has been hard at work on its objectives of delivering the cutting-edge technology, data, and analytics needed to operate the agency more effectively.  Because this work will have a direct and meaningful impact on the manner in which large business taxpayers interact with the IRS, it is critical that TEI members are not only aware of developments, but also able to provide their input.  TEI has assembled key officials in the IRS Transformation and Strategy Office and LB&I to provide updates on how they are addressing corporate customer service and technology issues large business taxpayers have faced since the pandemic, progress being made on technology solutions for large business taxpayers, and tools the IRS has identified for future development.  Don’t miss this opportunity to get the new year off to a great start.

Moderator:  Brian Kaufman | Vice President, Tax Audits & Litigation and Tax Counsel | Capital One Financial Corporation (TEI IRS Administrative Affairs Committee Member)
