President's Note (April 2021)

Hello everyone! We are excited to share some of TEI’s recent activities and initiatives with our members.

Registration is open for three upcoming virtual events! TEI’s third annual Tax Technology Seminar will take place virtually from April 27-29, our new Federal Tax Fundamentals Series will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the month of June, and our new Financial Reporting Series will be offered June 9-10. Each of these events has been redesigned for success on a virtual platform. I encourage you to review their programs and share them with your colleagues!

Be on the lookout for an invitation to participate in two TEI surveys. Our Member Travel Survey will seek your input on how you would like to engage with TEI for the remainder of 2021, as the prospect of in-person meetings becomes a possibility. We will also be asking companies to participate in TEI’s Corporate Tax Department Survey. Last completed in 2012, this year’s survey will provide comparison and trend data, and assess new and evolving areas important to corporate tax departments, such as technology and remote work alternatives.
