Responses to TEI’s recent Corporate Tax Department Survey indicate that corporate tax departments rate their advancement and adoption of technology at 5.8 on a scale of 10. Yet, most respondents want to increase their use of tax technology. In order to help members transform their use of technology, TEI has created a new Tax Technology Committee. The Committee allows members to connect, learn, and share tax technology efforts, trends, digital capabilities and strategies. The committee will collaborate through virtual meetings, an online discussion forum, planning committees that will design TEI’s tax technology education and events, hosted roundtable discussions, and more as this community continues to grow and evolve.
The Committee will meet virtually on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 3:00pm ET, which will be part learn/share on selected topic and part addressing committee business matters. The Committee will also lead planning efforts of TEI’s tax technology educational programs, like the annual Tax Technology Seminar, giving members the opportunity to help shape future education offerings by TEI on tax technology topics.
