General Description of program: This session will discuss the U.S. economic landscape and the rapid rise of generative AI, recent developments and trends in transferable tax credits, sales and use tax considerations in a post-Wayfair world, and state tax conformity of OB3.
Learning Objectives: After attending this course, participants should be able to:
• Gain an understanding of the evolving U.S. economic landscape, the rapid rise of generative AI, and perspectives on current economic conditions and trends.
• Gain an understanding of recent developments and trends with respect to transferable tax credits.
• Gain an understanding of the sales and use tax implications of the Wayfair court case, developments since the court case, and the rise of online marketplaces.
• Gain an understanding of state OB3 conformity and state trends in corporate taxation and response to OB3.
