CANADIAN INCOME TAX COMMITTEE

The Canadian Income Tax Committee is responsible for TEI’s advocacy and educational efforts in Canadian federal and provincial income tax matters. It conducts annual liaison meetings with the Canada Revenue Agency and the Canada Department of Finance to discuss tax-enforcement and policy matters in the income tax field.  The Committee also coordinates with the EMEA Direct Tax and U.S. International Tax Committees regarding advocacy before the OECD and United Nations.  Finally, the Committee assists in developing the program for TEI’s Region 1 Conference, held annually in Ottawa.
