The primary responsibility of this position will be to coordinate and prepare State and Federal tax compliance. Some of the key areas of involvement will be State and Federal tax audits along with sales and use tax and tax compliance. This individual must be able to work closely with various members of the tax department. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Primary responsibilities will include the following:

  • Coordinate the sales and use tax process
  • Prepare and timely file both federal and state tax returns
  • Assist with audit defense, both federal and state
  • Assist with various tax projects arising from tax system upgrades
  • Assist in the preparation of federal and state estimated tax payments
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provision (ASC 740)
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations for tax general ledger accounts
  • Self-starter, however, able to work within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills are required
  • Strong PC skills required with an emphasis on Excel, OneSource, and SAP.


  • Bachelors of Accounting Degree is required. CPA is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in Financial Accounting is required.
  • Working experience with SAP is required.
  • Working knowledge with Excel is required.
  • Exposure to Corporate Tax is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work within a team environment is required.
