This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sr. Tax Accountant looking for exposure to a wide range of tax areas within international and federal income tax. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Tax Operations and will work closely with various members of the corporate tax department, including the Manager, Tax Accounting and Manager, Tax Compliance. In addition, this position will have an opportunity to directly support the VP of Global Tax with respect to the Company’s international tax positions and projects.

This position has primary responsibility for the U.S. tax compliance reporting for the CDK Global international subsidiaries, including Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 1042’s and FBAR filings. This position will also provide support for transfer pricing, tax audits, transactions/acquisitions, process improvement initiatives and other special projects, as needed.

Responsibilities & Essential functions
U.S. International Tax
  • Preparation and/or review of the US international tax Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, and others.
  • Manage the international tax calculations for E&P, tax pools, source of income and expenses, Subpart F and foreign tax credits for the quarterly tax provisions and annual tax return compliance.
  • Assist with international related ASC 740 deliverables, including undistributed foreign earnings analysis and memos.
  • Assist with annual FBAR and 1042 filings.
U.S. Federal Tax
Transfer Pricing & Other Non-US (Canada)
  • Administer the OneSource Transfer Pricing software.
  • Conduct transfer pricing analysis and prepare transfer pricing documentation and reports.
  • Maintain and update S-Ox documentation and processes related to international taxation and intercompany transactions and support necessary internal control testing
  • Provide certain non-US tax supporting (primarily Canada) – including tax provision analysis, estimated tax payment computations and Canadian tax return support.
Tax Planning and Other Projects
  • Support the implementation of international tax projects including understanding, communicating and organizing projects from inception to completion.
  • Perform tax research on various federal and international tax issues and prepare memos as needed.
  • Maintain tax legal entity org chart and related documentation.
  • Other special projects, which may include tax audits, tax modeling, as needed.
Qualifications & Job Requirements
  • Approximately 4-5 years of relevant corporate tax experience in public accounting and/or corporation tax department.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Master’s in Taxation or CPA is a plus, but not required.
  • Must have International corporate tax experience.
  • Must have strong technology skills, including solid experience working with general ledgers and financial reporting systems
  • OneSource tax software experience is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and in written form, with all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to manage various projects and team with peers.
  • Must be able to identify when judgements are necessary and seek appropriate assistance; Ability to adhere to internal due dates and work-plans.
