This is a dynamic project based role that will be responsible for coordinating and managing key aspects of the tax positions of Greif’s international subsidiaries. The position will report to the Senior Manager International Tax and will work collaboratively with members of the Tax, Finance, Legal and other business partners.


  • Serve as the primary contact between the Greif corporate tax department and specifically defined international subsidiaries on tax matters
  • Supports the U.S. tax compliance team on U.S. International tax compliance and reporting
  • Assists in the preparation of quarterly international schedules for ASC 740
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation and schedules related to Intercompany cost charges
  • Assists in the preparation of Transfer Pricing reports to include Master File, Local Country files and Country by Country Reporting
  • Maintains oversite of company’s worldwide Withholding Tax expense
  • Responds to Informational Document Requests (IDRs) upon U.S. income tax audit and requests from international subsidiaries for tax audit support.
  • Lead or assist on tax planning projects
  • Perform other duties as required


  • 3-5 years of demonstrable direct tax experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • CPA, MST, JD/LLM a plus
