TEI's 70th Midyear Conference will be held March 22-25, 2020 at the Grand Hyatt Washington, D.C. Hotel.

CPE/CLE Information

TEI's Midyear Conference offers approximately 19 CPE credits based on a 50 min-hour. A final number of credits will be calculated based on preliminary program.

Registration

TEI Events are open to members of TEI and other in-house tax professionals. Individuals engaged in private law, accounting, or other consulting practice, as well as government employees, are ineligible to attend. 
 
TEI Memberships are individual memberships, not corporate memberships, even if your organization pays the annual fees.  Member benefits are non-transferable to non-members. 
 
If you are qualified and interested in joining TEI, please do so prior to registering to take advantage of the member registration fees and First Timer Discount Rate if this is your first Midyear or Annual Conference.  Click HERE to join.  
 
AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS:  TEI offers two discounts off our standard registration fees. These discounts cannot be combined.
 
1. TEAM DISCOUNT - After the first two registrants from your company at a regular registration fee (1st time member or full conference member or non-member registrant), the 3rd and subsequent registrations can receive $200 off their registration fees.  During the registration process, type "MY20TEAM" into the discount code field before payment. The discount will be taken off prior to charging your credit card.
 
2. FIRST TIME MEMBER DISCOUNT - This discount is available to any TEI member who is attending their first TEI Annual or Midyear Conference.  During the online registration process, select "First Timer - TEI Members Only" as your registration type from the pull-down list of registration types.
 
** If you are attempting to register multiple registrants or someone other than yourself, we suggest printing out a registration form for each person and sending them in at once to Fax: 202-638-5607 or scan and email them to: [email protected] 

Accommodations

Registrants are responsible for making their own room reservations at the Grand Hyatt Washington. TEI has secured a discounted room block for $369 + tax per night for TEI registrants.  To make your reservations online CLICK HERE.  TEI's room block is limited and will likely sell out.  We encourage you to make your reservations early. TEI's room block formally expires February 24, 2020 when unsold rooms will be released back for resale to the general public. After Feb. 24 or if the block sells out earlier, TEI's discounted rate will not be available and prevailing rates will apply.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing by 4:00 pm ET on March 2, 2020 and will be subject to an administrative service charge of $75 (U.S.); for cancellations after March 2, 2020 (the date handout materials become available) and before March 9, 2019 the charge will be $200 (U.S.) No refunds will be made for cancellations received after March 9, and for no-shows. Cancellations must be received in  writing to [email protected]
 
Substitutions are allowed for an administrative fee of $50 plus and difference is registration fees. Email substitution requests to [email protected] with the person's name for who is being substituted for and the new registrant.
 
Refunds of credit card registrations, less administrative charge, will be  made to credit card account.  TEI’s Federal Taxpayer ID Number is 52-0239291.
