In early March, a delegation from TEI participated in three liaison meetings with government officials in Washington. On March 1, the Institute met with the Large Business & International Division of the Internal Revenue Service. On March 2, TEI met separately with the Commissioner of Internal Revenue and other senior IRS officials and with the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Tax Policy and other representatives of Treasury's Office of Tax Policy.
