Sixty-five years ago, Tax Executives Institute was organized to provide in-house tax professionals with a forum to exchange views, educate one another, and advocate for positive changes in the tax system. Today, the network has grown to be the preeminent association of business tax professionals worldwide, with 54 local chapters and 7,000 total members. With the launch of TEI’s new website, the network is even stronger and more valuable. More than ever, it is the place for in-house professionals to advance their networking, education, and advocacy objectives. Thank you for joining us.
The new website, which has been in the works for two years, brings TEI into the 21st Century in terms of website design. As was the case with the old site, members are still able to use the site to pay their dues, register for educational programs, learn about tax developments (or job openings), and network with their peers confidentially about tax and management issues. In addition, each of the Institute’s chapters will manage its own site. The site’s enhancements, however, will afford the Institute and its chapters more flexibility to provide more information in a more timely manner to members, and to offer it in an easier-to-get manner.
So we urge you to pull your chair up, take a look around, see what your new site has to offer. Then let us know what you think by clicking on the Contact Us link at the top of the page. We’ll be adding functionalities and making tweaks to the new site over the ensuing weeks and months. (For example, we’ll soon be posting short videos on how to optimize your use of the site.)
