COURSE DESCRIPTION 
Suitable for corporate employees with less than five years’ international tax experience, TEI’s International Tax Course covers major aspect of International taxation. The course will cover the central concepts of international taxation. Starting with a session on the development of international tax law and policy, the program progresses through topics as diverse as the sourcing of income and expenses under section 861, the foreign tax credit and its limitations, earnings and profits, subpart F, transfer pricing under section 482, foreign currency issues, FATCA and withholding and inbound and outbound transactions under section 367. This course is open to TEI members and non-members alike.
CPE/CLE INFORMATION
Expanded to 5 days, the course provides approximately 35.5 credits on a 50-minute hour basis, 29.5 credits on 60-minute hour basis, (including 1 ethics credit). There are no prerequisites nor is any preparation necessary.

NEW CONFERENCE HANDOUT MATERIALS
Conference materials will be posted in a searchable form on a secure website as they are received from the speakers. Beginning two weeks before the conference, registrants will be able to access the handouts via a secure link (requiring a password), so they can download or print them out. No paper copies will be provided in your registration materials onsite, and onsite printing facilities will be extremely limited. TEI encourages you to print documents of interest in advance. (Regrettably, Wi-Fi will not be available in the meeting rooms.) Materials will remain accessible by conference registrants for one month after the conference.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be made in writing by 4:00 pm ET on August 3, 2012, and will be subject to an administrative service charge of $75 (U.S.); for cancellations after August 3, 2012 (the date handout materials become available) and before August 6, the charge will be $200 (U.S.). No refunds will be made for cancellations received after August 10 and for no-shows. To cancel please send an email meetings@tei.org. In the event of cancellation or oversubscription of the conference, TEI’s liability is limited to the return of the registration fee.
