SEMINAR DESCRIPTION
TEI's 2010 Financial Reporting Seminar, styled "Managing Tax Accounting Risk in the Age of Transparency," is designed to assist tax executives deal with key financial reporting and management topics. The topics covered at this two-day program will include Enterprise Risk Management, Tax and the Board Room, Tax Accounting Implications of the Codification of the Economic Substance Doctrine, Managing FIN 48 Analysis and Reporting Post-Schedule UTP, Tax Accounting and Technology, APB 23, Tax Accounting for Foreign Currency, Advanced Topics in Accounting for Stock-Based Compensation, and Errors vs. Changes in Estimates. This popular program will combine technical and policy presentations from seasoned professionals and practical discussions from senior tax executives. This seminar, which will feature a vendor show, is open to TEI members and non-members who are employed in corporate tax departments.

CPE/CLE INFORMATION
This seminar provides approximately 14.0 credits on a 50-minute hour basis, 12.0 credits on a 60-minute hour basis. Accounting credits: 6.5 credits based on a 50-minute hour; 5.5 credits based on a 60-minute hour. There are no prerequisites nor is any preparation necessary. Seminar hours and technical topics are subject to change.
